Repairs and Fees

I offer repairs to all my scale tops for a fee. This fee amount depends on the extent of repairs needed.

Commissioned Scale Tops

If you have purchased a personalized commissioned top from me within 3 months repairs are free depending on scale loss and whether it is due to normal wear and tear, mistreatment or carelessness. I will be able to tell the difference. Purchases beyond 3 months in need of repair will need to be assessed.

Customers are responsible for shipping costs.

Premade Scale Tops

If you have purchased a premade top from my shop within 3 months and are in need of repairs, an assessment of damages will need to be made prior to knowing the cost of those repairs.

Shipping Scale Tops

Place your top in a secure shipping BOX. Do not use a padded envelope for shipment. You may choose which carrier to ship with. If you are shipping from outside of California I highly suggest insuring your shipment.
Once I receive your top an open invoice for repair fees as well as return shipping costs will be sent. Once I have assessed the repairs needed and payment has been received I will begin. Repair times may vary depending on damages.
